Munnar

Munnar is a hill station located in the Idukki district of Kerala. Munnar is situated in the western ghats mountain range in kerala and is surrounded by rolling hills dotted with tea plantations established in the late 19th century. Along with the exotic flora found in the forests and grasslands,here is the Neelakurinji flower which bathes the hills in blue once in every twelve years. Some of the most popular places to visit in munnar are Eravikulam National Park, Mattupetty Dam, Anamudi, Devikulam, Nyayamakad, Muniyara Dolmens, Attukal Waterfalls, Photo Point, Echo Point and Pothemadu. Munnar is known as the “Kashmir of South India”.
